Summary

SOLD reserved for V

Aynsley D Jones Orchard Fruit Tea Cup and Saucer set features teal blue with full bowl of fruit and signed in gold letters D Jones.

Made in England fine bone china. Stamp dates circa 1930 – 1940. Light wear to gold under the handle and many small white specks from paint wear on both cup and saucer. The larger white shadows and streaks you see is not wear but reflection from the lighting. No cracks no chips, passes the ping test, rings true.

Aynsley was established in 1775 by John Aynsley and the company manufacured beautiful, high quality bone china for more than 240 years.

Aynsley produced elegant shapes and exquisite designs that are exciting to collect in today’s world. The company was purchased in 1997 by the Belleek Pottery Group in Ireland and the factory was closed down at Stoke on Trent factory in 2014.

Unfortunately, Fine English Bone China is no longer manufactured. The only opportunity to collect English Bone China is through the secondary market. This piece is an excellent example of truly fine quality and craftsmanship.

All items are previously owned or vintage estate pieces. They are described as found. Because they come from previous owners they may have light scratches or very light wear. I will always describe any obvious flaws or any type of wear so you are well informed before buying. I take many pictures and I welcome you to ask as many questions as you like. Parcels are packed with foam, peanuts and bubble wrap for safe travel at no extra cost to you. The peanuts are biodegradable and I ask that you please try to recycle my packaging if possible. Together we can do our part in protecting our environment. Shipping costs are kept down without compromising the safety of the items. Combined shipping is always considered when making multiple purchases.
