Another beautiful Royal Albert Senorita Tea Cup and Saucer set!
Featuring deep pink rose (some say red but I think it’s more pink), black lace on white ground. Cup shape is Malvern, gold trimmed with flared foot. This duo is original vintage English Bone China produced by Royal Albert England. Senorita was produced in the 1950’s and the maker’s mark confirms production during that era.
Senorita is a sought after pattern and not easily found. Condition is excellent, no damage, no repairs. Gold looks great and pings nicely when tapped, ringing true! A beautiful piece to add to your collection.
Royal Albert’s history began in England in 1896 by Thomas Clark Wild. The factory was located in Stoke on Trent England and was named “Albert Works”. Royal Albert was a successful family run business that produced beautiful high quality Fine Bone China over a span of 100 years. Having a close relationship to the Royal Family, the name ‘Royal” was added to “Albert Crown China” in 1904. They were known for their rich and colorful patterns, floral motifs and Rococo shapes. They offered 100’s of styles and designs to compliment any table and their pieces were suited to every class from the modest to the wealthiest. They used roses in many of their patterns to represent England’s national flower. The company was sold to Waterford Wedgwood in 2005 and is no longer making Fine Bone China in England.
All items are previously owned or vintage estate pieces. They are described as found. Because they come from previous owners they may have light scratches or very light wear. I will always describe any obvious flaws or any type of wear so you are well informed before buying. I take many pictures and I welcome you to ask as many questions as you like. Parcels are packed with foam, peanuts and bubble wrap for safe travel at no extra cost to you. The peanuts are biodegradable and I ask that you please try to recycle my packaging if possible. Together we can do our part in protecting our environment. Shipping costs are kept down without compromising the safety of the items. Combined shipping is always considered when making multiple purchases.
