Moonlight Rose is a pattern not easy to find. It’s becoming more and more difficult to own the original pieces that were made in England!
Moonlight Rose was created in 1987 and was made in England between 1987 and 2002. This set is original English Bone China that was produced in England. The maker’s mark on the bottom states “England” and the mark is the early mark which means it was made sometime during the late 1980’s or mid 1990’s.
Condition is excellent, no damage, no repairs, no gold loss.
We have many items in this pattern so please look in our store for additional pieces!
We do offer combined shipping on multiple items!
Royal Albert’s history began in England in 1896 by Thomas Wild. It was a successful family run business that produced beautiful high quality Fine Bone China over a span of 100 years.

Having a close relationship to the Royal Family, the name ‘Royal” was added to “Albert Crown China” in 1904. They were known for their rich and colorful patterns, floral motifs and Rococo shapes. They offered 100’s of styles and designs to compliment any table and their pieces were suited to every class from the modest to the wealthiest. They used roses in many of their patterns to represent England’s national flower. The company was sold to Waterford Wedgwood in 2005 and is no longer made in England.

Fine English Bone China is no longer manufactured in England. The only opportunity to collect English Bone China is through the secondary market. When looking for made in England Bone China, remember to read the mark and make sure it says “England”, or “Made in England”.

This piece is an excellent example of truly fine quality and craftsmanship.
