Art Deco period, 1930’s Aynsley Teacup and Saucer. Hand painted raised and enameled floral – featuring straight lines, curves and curls. Bold colors of blue, green, peach and black against white ground. Handle with green enameled contrast. Gold trim along the rims. Saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and cup and saucer together measure 3 inches tall.
This duo will bring delight to it’s owner and offer richness and beauty in a cabinet or table setting. Made in England from Fine Bone China, circa 1930’s. Excellent lightly used condition, no damage, no crazing, very little wear. Pings nicely when tapped, rings true.
